Rig Explosion Bursts Pipeline in TirNua

The leak from the explosion which occurred sometime yesterday, looks to be the size of China. Authorities are investigating the exact location of the explosion which has gravely impacted the plateau of the fertile plains region. Emergency response teams have been successful so far at containing the leak from hitting the lake.
In order to see this disaster on the map you will need to make sure to be in the Environment Mode on the map.
The response teams are calling for as many volunteers as possible to come help save the wildlife and orchards. Many farmers are gravely concerned as to how this will effect the harvesting of fruit crops this year.
Experts have not been able to make a specific statement on what the potential damages to crops will be yet. All they are saying at this point, is “there was an outpouring of volunteers who came together to save the gulf region after last week’s oil spill. The support and help was tremendous, we are hoping to see the same kind of support here in the fertile plains.”
Authorities, are encouraging those who find birds to place them in their inventory and take them to one of the rescue sites springing up to help save the wildlife. The oiled birds specifically will need cleaning in order to save them.
The more birds rescued on a lot the better the ground environmental reading for that lot will be and eventually it will be restored to its pre-oil leak state.
So, please come help save the birds and the environment!

Love the background…even tho it means bad for the environment.
I enjoy events like these. Will we ever have a meter that will show the current carbon score for the entire Tirnua world? I guess it could show everyones persona as a group number both best and worst combined.
Maybe it could also show a current event meter so when something like this happens we have a goal we are working toward to clean up the disaster…?

I’m also amazed at the quality of the new backgrounds. I love that car.
Agree that we could have a status bar or event meter that shows us how the cleaning is going. And also the “state of the world” numbers would be interesting to see, but instead of using people’s personal numbers, I suppose there are numbers for the world itself that can be shown? It feels less interesting to get info about everyone’s personal base carbons, I think base carbon is irrelevant. Love statistics. We should have a statistics page taken from the database. Not only state of the world, but how many boilers are running etc, how the war between good and bad is going, how the oil levels are etc.
It is a “simulation game” so show us how the simulation is going.
